Last night I went to see Wicked with my aunt. I went in, knowing that it was good. I came out with it becoming one of my favorite musicals.
I was blown away by everything. The sets were gorgeous, the music catchy, and kudos to whoever designed the makeup and costumes---I bet you anything Wicked won an award for best costumes at the Tonys. I love the Shiz uniforms so much.
The story was was an interesting take on the Wizard of Oz. I sympathized a lot with Elphaba who was not only an outcast but had to take care of her sister her entire life. And Glinda went through so much character development. Their friendship was great. The corrupt government and racism subplot not only makes the story relevant to many issues people around the world face today, but goes along with the theme that there are two sides to every story. This show also makes great use of humor---especially with the ditzy Glinda in the first act.
I liked the singing too. Man can the actress playing Glinda go high! I think she goes up to a high B at some points. Loved the harmony in many of the songs especially with Glinda and Elphaba.
If you ever get a chance go see this! You won't regret it!
One last thing.

So Yeah I Haven't Been Around Like I Used To
Lately I've found that fanfic wise I've been doing well on AO3. Not that there's no readers here on DA, but it's been easier to find an audience for certain fandoms that are obscure on AO3.
And even though I still upload fics here, I've noticed that many people I know here have gone in their own directions. Dropped fandoms. Changed fandoms. I've done the same myself. It's not a bad thing; people change all the time.
Even though I don't pop by and update often, it doesn't mean I'm leaving DA. I'm still here.
Planning on Making A CMV In The Future
It's going to be about Agent of Asgard/ Journey Into Mystery
Would anyone be interested in watching it?
I Am Still Writing Fics
For personal reasons, most of the newer ones I have not posted on DA.
I wrote a Ben 10 fanfic just recently. It's on AO3 but not on DA because of mature themes and content. Knowing that many of my followers do read my Ben 10 fics, I'm giving you guys a link in case you want to read it.

Writing Advice? (Mature Content)
So there's a fanfiction I want to write, about one of my otps losing their virginity to each other.
The problem is that they are both 16 and 17. I don't want to write anything explicit (because that would be considered to be underage porn) but I don't want to do a fade to black scene like they do in YA novels.
A few years back in the day when I was 17 I had no problem writing explicit fan fictions about the pairing because I was the same age range as they were. Now that I'm older, things are different.
Is it ok if use a lot of emotional description and don’t describe anything physical beyond touching? Has anyone else been in this sit
