Gwevin: Confession

"Hey Gwen's what's up?"
Gwen was sitting in the front seat of Kevin's car. They had already dropped Ben off, and were on their way to Gwen's.
"Nothing," she sadly responded.
"Aw come on Gwen, I can tell something's up," he said. "You seem a little down."
"A little?" She shouted. "I am sick of it!"
"Whoa whoa whoa. Why are you shouting? Like.."
"I hate her!" Gwen shouted. "I can believe I'm related to her!"
"Who Sunny?" Kevin tried to hide a smile.
"I can believe that she comes here and tries to take over my life!" Gwen yelled. "She had to ruin the battle, she had to prove that she was stronger than me, and she had to hit on you."
"Gwen, Sunny's just a whackhead," Kevin responded. "She just needs to grow up."
Gwen groaned and burried her face in her hands.
"I can't believe you like her," she said.
"Me like her? Why would I like her?" Kevin replied. "Gwen, you honestly think..Gwen?"
She had began to cry, letting out quiet sobs. Kevin stopped the car in front of the park.He put his arm around her and pulled her close.
  "Gwen, oh baby...you would think I'd...." Sobs were the response. "Don't cry. Don't cry. Gwen, I don't even like her. I know girls who are exactly like her, and they just end up in trouble. I see them take the same route that I did back when I was kid..well not like what she does but you know what I mean. Gwen, you are my dream girl. You know that?"
"Nnno?"
"Whenever I'm with you, I feel like I'm in a dream. And it makes me happy because it's real. Ever since you came into my life, I've never been happier. Gwen I love you."
She looked up at him. "You...you what?"
"I love you," he blushed. "I know we've had our ups and downs, it happens to everybody. But nothing, nothing will ever change the fact that no one could ever replace you. I always want to be with you, right now, in the future, forever...."
He pulled her in even closer. "Oh Gwen baby."
"I love you too," she whispered. She clung to him. "Oh Kev."
They held on to each other, in that embrace, for a long time. And Kevin comforted Gwen as she cried.
